Hangzhou Gets Fast Track Customs Clearance for Live Dungeness, Lobsters
Live seafood commodities imported to Hangzhou are on the fast track regarding their clearance .
The airport office of Zhejiang Entry-exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau has adopted the clearance model of one declaration, one examination and one release (three ones model) since this February in consideration of these products’ decaying easily, having strict requirements about their warehouses and consuming a great amount of money.
It takes only one hour for the importers to finish the procedures from providing records for future references to picking up the commodities thanks to the model. This not only shortens the clearance period but also reduces the cost of clearance to a great extent.
According to the statistics, there are 62 batches of live commodities which have been imported through the model from this February to March and they include the Dungeness crabs, salmon, coral groupers, spiny lobsters, etc.
