The Norwegian Seafood Council (NSC) plans to make increased pelagic sales to China one of its priorities in 2019.

It has announced plans for a project which focuses on increasing market insight and facilitating network building for the Norwegian pelagic industry in China. The NSC is currently looking for industry representatives to join a working group, part of the project’s early stages.

“We want to invite representatives from the pelagic industry interested in the Chinese market to join this working group. This is so that the project will be as relevant and respond to the needs of the industry as much as possible,” said NSC’s representative in China, Victoria Braathen.

Participation in the working group will involve regular meetings (preferably via Skype) on activities, facilities, and progress in the project, said NSC, inviting interested parties to get in touch.
